A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!!

A standout full-length debut in what has been an incredible year for hardcore. Ecostrike play a incendiary, impassioned brand of straight edge metallic hardcore that recalls One Truth-era Strife and early Earth Crisis, but are far from being a simple retread of 90’s past. One of the year’s best releases.

Arguably the best melodic hardcore band of the early 1990s not just in Louisville but everywhere else. The songwriting is dynamic, the musicianship impressive, and the vocals both beautiful and intense. Gone before their time, but it's okay because we got Elliott and By the Grace of God from Falling Forward's unfortunate demise.
